Omega Ref.2374 & 2375 - Omegas early bumps in Automatic Watches

It is time for our early Bumpers to have their own thread.

This thread is for the Ref.2374 and its little brother Ref.2375 which were the first automatic wristwatches Omega produced, starting from 1943.

The goal is to share what we know about them and the different dial variations, and other aspects that make them interesting.

I start with a Ref.2374-3 with a 10.158 Mio Serial Number. Some pictures of the movement before it was serviced in 2018. The caseback has no markings on the outside. Crown is probably a replacement and is unsigned.

Sometimes the term NOS is used indiscriminately, here I believe it fits.

Note that both the crown and crystal are unsigned.

The contrast between the brushed and polished surfaces is quite striking.
