A 2990-1 Ranchero double signed with the Meister retailer was passed in at a Auction in Sydney. I have never seen another double signed 2990-1 before and interestingly this watch has a omega logo on the crystal.

No extract and pretty generous asking price but might be the price for a very rare watch.

I wouldn’t pay a premium for this watch. An authentic Ranchero with both the “Ranchero” and the “Seamaster” text on the dial is another matter. Those are incredibly rare and sell for a significant premium.

I was scrolling through Rancheros at C24 the other day, always liked them, and had default sorted by Relevance. My screen was zoomed on the watches, and was not keeping an eye on price, I noticed one that was particularly stunning. My eye slowly slid to the lower right, and my jaw firmly slid the the desk as I saw $26K. It is exactly the watch you reference here, in great condition with box and papers.

Yes, I’ve seen that one. It’s very nice, but the seller’s asking price is, well, let’s call it ambitious.
