    Hello all , excuse me but trying to learn to use this site ,
    further to my earlier message about above watch .
    have added some pictures now of my watch, also a couple of the museum collection watch for comparison .

    The only thing I can say is you have a really nice watch...!! Congratulations !!:thumbsup:
    (The museum is also nice but always prefer the vintage ones)

    Unfortunately looks like a redial. Value at this point is for its parts.

    First thing to mention is that your watch is not the same as the one sold in Omegamania. That was an OT 2451 and the case design is different than yours. This can easily be seen by looking at the shape of the lugs. The lugs on the 2451 (and the museum watch you have a picture of) curve smoothly. In contrast, the lugs on your watch actually incorporate a facet.

    There is actually a very similar watch to yours in AJTT (page 541- upper right). The interesting thing is that there is no reference number for this model. AJTT mentions that the watch is a French creation by "Maison Brandet Freres" from 1950.

    The important thing to note here is that the dial on your watch has been refinished. This will put a major dent in the value.

    Yea its a shame really as that case is and the pushers look quite nice but once again its likely a victim of having square pushers, moisture and dust intrusion through those probably ruined the original dial paint.
