I heard that Omega boutiques have been instructed by head office to cut all prices by 50% for Black Friday. And a further 50% off on any stock not sold by Monday.
Haha, a few were caught out with this one. Brilliant.

I have confused 70% and 7% when discussing my watch purchases with my wife many times. 😉

When I'm gone don't lent my wife sell anything I own for what I told her they had cost😁

I recently bought my SMP with a 15% discount. Really wasn’t a hard push either tbh.

Last week I purchased a brand new Apollo 8 50th Anniversary DSOTM from our local AD in Maryland. I have never bought a watch there but my wife has been a regular customer of their jewelry for many years. They are a large dealer who also sells Rolex, Breitling and all the other major luxury brands. They carry a lot of inventory.

I was initially offered $1000 off of the Omega MSRP without even asking. Then I simply said, " Can you do any better ? " She left me for a couple of minutes and came back offering $1450 discount ( just about 15% ). She said that was the best she could do. I bought the watch as I had never seen the Apollo 8 in person but has always liked it.. I am pleased as two years ago I paid full MSRP for my Apollo 11 50th anniversary model.

So I also agree . . . Omega discounts are available, even in this economy.

With that level of discount did you check the authenticity? 😉

And free on Monday.
Followed by free watches and cash rebates on Tuesday. But only on the first 5 watches.

No, and no worries either . . . . family been shopping there over 30 years with never a problem. And they sell a lot more than watches.
Wife bought a Cartier watch there last year - all good. Friend got his perfect Breitling there too. And they are area's #1 Rolex dealer.
So my little Omega is just fine. But she did show me the box, warranty cards, etc before I bought it. And watch still had stickers on.
First class place.

This is ridiculous, I was offered 12% off at Athens Airport on the new Speedy a month ago and that was without even really asking! I know that an AD in Madrid is even offering 25% off!

Sounds like the shops I visited saw me coming a mile off and could tell I was going to be buying them regardless, hence no discount! Or maybe it’s just the UK market is strong and they don’t see the need to discount?

Oh well, I don’t intend on ever selling either watch, so doesn’t make a huge deal of difference.

I spoke with an AD in Toronto and he had not heard about the price increase.

That would be Radcliffe Jewelers . . . . ask for Liz, a true Omega expert.

The only thing I heard from my Boutique is the fact that their watches are slowing down in arrivals, causing the “Rolex” effect of empty cases, few sections were half empty.

My dude was telling me the Suez Canal incident is still affecting them big time but even going to a totally different AD that doesn’t even sell Omega’s was telling me how he heard that the Boutique was running out of stock

I mean I live in a big city but seriously all the AD’s and watch stores know each other to an extent haha

Just got a 12% +5% (due to some payment app tie in with the AD) in Singapore for my aqua terra 38. Not as high as I hoped but definitely the best in my country.

I do see ready stock drying up and Omega seems to be sending less watches to the AD. The AD didn't have my watch in stock and it is now on order from Switzerland. I have to wait 8-12 weeks for it to arrive. I wouldn't be surprised if in the next 5 years, you'll have to get on a wait list for some Omega models, just like rolex.

Went in my local Omega AD yesterday. Was in a hurry and was looking at the 43.5mm PO. Quickly asked if they would work on the price and was offered 10% off without pushing or even acting too interested. He did mention he couldn’t with all models but could on the PO….I imagine I could’ve gotten them to 15% if I were ready to buy.

I believe you can push them for more on PO. Its really the Diver 300 SMP and the speedie that are a bit harder to get signicant discount on. Having said that some dude on TRF claimed 30% on speedie. Not sure of the authenticity of the claim.
