Hello
I have this quite old Omega Pocket watch, I would
like to have somebody's advice on it.
It works perfectly and keeps perfect time. Is it worth restoring ? Thank you

Hello,

I can tell you it is nice and original, but wether it deserves the cost of a service (nothing else to do) is up to you. If it is working, anf if you do not use it on a regular basis, you can even keep it as is.

Cheers,
François

Only if you plan to use it. If so, definitely.
Thank you ! I don't plan to wear it on a daily basis but as a special piece for a wedding or something of that style then I would ! If you happen to know how old it is I would be very grateful !

If you open the back and look at the serial number of the movement, there are serial number charts on the internet, that will give you an approximate date. Just search on google and you'll find it. They are all essentially the same. Likely early 1900's. Unfortunately, the ring for the chain has broken off, so you won't be able to wear it without getting it repaired. Which will likely be costly.

Cost-wise it's not worth it at the moment, they usually sell for $100-200

On this movement, the serial number is on the dial side. But thanks to the case number, we coudl tell you. You only have to show it to us - or to check yourself thanks to the table we can find on the net.

I found that the watch is from 1895, the serial number is 1452322

Does anybody know what the ' K 22' symbol means ?
