Hi,

I have come across this watch for auction. It does not have box or papers. It has been seized and is being sold by the police/sherif.

What is the market value of such a piece?

Any assistance or pointers would help?

Thank you.

Tough one to value. It's a rather niche piece and likely not one that is often counterfeit, so you're probably safe on that front. There isn't a single one of these available anywhere in the U.S. All the ones on the market (ebay, chrono24) are from outside of the U.S. It seems that the one with the rubber straps are being offered for a higher price than the mesh bracelet ones. Regardless, you're looking at paying from $8k - $10k, so I'd probably try to get in at somewhere under that range.

It's a cool watch btw. After the summer blue ploprof, I think this one is my personal favorite among the ploprof models.

That's a cool looking unique watch for sure. Rhetorical question I'm sure: who do you go to if a law enforcement agency sells you a counterfeit?

i have seen some good fakes of those watches, the only way of truly knowing is opening up the case back and check the movement really.

Caveat Emptor. You buy at your own risk.

This one is $6500 with Box and papers

White dial is not as desired, in my opinion. It's nice and I'd love a white dial Ploprof, but i don't think it sells as fast.

I think you're wholesale at $5500. It'll be a great watch to wear at 6500 or below.
