mbp, compare how duc wears the watch vs your placement between wrist and hand: 1667580-fd6f971591ecca40882e68b2896adc5c.jpg

You (mbp) are wearing the watch on the wrong side of your wrist bones (wrong if you value wrist mobility; of course anybody is free to wear their watch any way they want). I didn't get your 'I'm left handed' comment at all, until I realized that the way your are wearing your watch is immobilizing your wrist. I (left handed as well) actually like to have use of both of my hands. With your watch placement your watch hand is pretty much frozen at the wrist, with very little mobility left.

Regarding Duc's question on the need for the extension: of course it depends on your wrist/forearm size. On many days I can get away with wearing either my coaxial Speedmaster or my Portugieser on the Omega shark mesh without extension, in the longest clasp setting. Adding the extension and switching to the second shortest clasp hole adjustment makes both watches work at any temperature, activity level and clothing choice, even under a zipped up motorcycle jacket sleeve.

I love the Ploprof and own one singe it came out. When i Look at your pics, i think your wrist is too small to wear the Ploprof and its not really designed to be worn on the right side.

maybe u try the rubber band to improve the feeling.

wish u the best.

@mbp How is your experience with this watch after a few weeks?

From what I gathered, OP is dedicated to wearing watches on their right wrist, which is not something the Ploprof can easily accommodate. I don't think this would have been a particularly comfortable accomodation if done for many, many hours over many days.

Lets hope the watch finds a new happy owner, by the look of the photos it's in great condition

Quick update.

The steel case of the Ploprof is impeccably beautiful. The finish of the corners, the angles the watch makes. It's all just so aesthetically pleasing. And that sapphire bezel is just a beauty.

I find the watch to be very fun to wear. I am simply not able to wear it for long periods on my right wrist. It is difficult being a left-handed man in a right-handed man's world. I have tried using recommendations above, including wearing it upside down (which works!) but detracts from the aesthetic of the watch when I try to read the time.

The adjustment clasp is an engineernig marvel and the newer shark mesh bracelet is super comfortable. It doesn't pull any hairs and conforms beautifully to your wrist, or your sleeve if you decide to wear it on top of your clothing. Just a fun watch. It's an enthusiast's dream.

Luckily, the watch I have still has an additional OEM shark mesh bracelet and additional OEM clasp. I am listing it but just letting it sit aside. The watch has been well cared for and I am hoping it goes to someone who intends to wear it.

If anyone has questions or wants more pics just let me know and I am happy to share them. I often see pics of the titanium models on here but the steel model is a real winner for me.

Yes, I do have a small wrist. I love the size of the watch--the location of the crown was the only down side for me.

This journey had a nice ending. Thank you all for your kind help troubleshooting the Ploprof. Ultimately, it was the crown (not the overall size of the watch on the wrist) that prevented me from holding on to it.

I was able to find an enthusiast who is excited to get the set I have, and I was able to pick up a CK2998 to celebrate a milestone. I think the CK2998 is better suited to my Speedmaster collection.

Thank you. It's an absolute beauty.

I have always adored the CK2998 and found my way back to it!

Congratulations on the 2998. I Love it. Is that the 19mm Ed White bracelet?

As for the PP: good solution. I'm looking forward to the gen3 PP and some additional colours next to the anniversary model. Possible trade-in me steel gen2 for a little thinner and smaller gen3. It's closer to the original. If Omega does it right.

Yes, it's the Ed White bracelet with Uncle Seiko endlinks. I had this type of set up on a FOIS in the past.

The gen 3 PloProf looks incredible if they manage to pull off the monobloc well.

Edit: Forstner endlinks
