I'm sure there is a lot knowledge here. Poking around with the 600 this listing on ebay states over 370,000 of these were produced. That sounds like an
enormous amount between 1971-79 of the first gen years. Is this indeed possible?

This listing seems to be like an AI job... the number is i believe meant like to be related to cal 1002 movement.

That would certainly make sense, 370k movements in the 1002cal.

The only number I have come across, and that is backed with no proof or source listed, is approx.2500 over the nine year production span.
This would not be surprising if indeed it is close. Would love to know, especially if indeed they a concierge watch as has been stated over the years.
Such fabulous piece.

I believe the 2000 number is probably close to accurate. Years ago I had more information on the model, but I do recall that being thrown around as a production number.
