Hi all,

As I continue to downsize my collection and focus on antimagnetic watches, I am listing this Omega for sale.

It is a reference 2517 chronometre with an uncommon double signed plank dial. The dial has developed patina as seen in the photos. All the text and markers are very crisp and clean. The plank itself has developed a bit of patina which looks quite nice.

The 35 mm case is in very good condition as well. The bezel retains its subtle step. The lug holes remain round, which suggests no significant polishing in the past. The inner caseback is marked 2517-3.

The movement is a classic caliber 352 bumper. It was last serviced in September 2021 and will come with proof of service and warranty card of 1 year from service. The crown and crystal are both signed.

The watch will come on the black strap seen in most of the photos. This is a nearly unworn authentic vintage Omega strap. The buckle is also authentic vintage Omega. The bracelet in the first photo is not included in the sale. If you have a strong desire for the bracelet, we can discuss.

For this watch, I am asking $2500 which will include shipping in the United States. The last non-plank 2517 on OF sold for around 2k in 2019. International deals are welcome and will ship at cost. I can ship in a way to reduce potential customs headaches. No returns unless the watch is somehow misrepresented.

I have lots of positive feedback if you search the Seller Review section for my username. Thanks for looking!

I can’t believe you’re going to sell this. Doesn’t come up often is an understatement! Truly rare to see this one. I have only ever seen one other double signed plank dial chronometer.

What more can I say that others haven’t beat me to? This is a rare gem that will not come up again. Can’t believe you’re selling it, but congrats to its future owner!

I had never seen a plank dial version before and didn't know it existed. It sure looks really cool and I guess these aren't common. Congrats on the sale!
