    Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forum. I'm in the market to purchase the Limited Edition Planet Ocean. I know it's a long shot but does anyone on here fancy selling up. :)

    Thanks

    Dave

That LE is quite a special piece, beautiful looking, thin and with one of the most desirable and never repeated colour combinations (black gloss). They are around once in a while but they're not cheap, they now sell above their original MSRP.

Hopefully one of the owners can post some pics

I'm an owner, but sorry Dave c, 'tis not FS.

I'd like to note that the dial/bezel color is not at pitch black as some other models. To my eyes it has a slight touch of brown. I can really only see it when compared side by side with another watch. I have a photo showing this but it's eluding me right now. Will try to find an post back here later.

That's the one. I know what they go for so not an issue.
I've put my details out to a few dealers to keep their eyes open. Can anyone recommend a good dealer?

Don't know about dealers, but you might want to check out a thread on watchuseek called "Official Liquid Metal Thread" where over 50 owners have posted. I recommend you PM them one by one and inquire if any would be ready to move on. Plus...many of the posted pics there are excellent!

    Best of luck.

It took a while for me but krinkily found me one. I would suggest sending him a PM.

    Oh nice, congrats mate!

I forgot one of the coolest things about these are they're also the only Planet Ocean reference that has both open 6/9 markers and applied markers, with the 8500 they closed the loops, and the non-LM 2500s were painted rather than white gold applied.

I never realized the 8500 closed those loops. Nice detail dsio.
