Omega NTTD Stainless Steel Milanese Bracelet on Seamaster 300M Review

So back in late January of this year, I had heard rumors that Omega had released a stainless steel version of the titanium No Time To Die Seamaster bracelet. In addition to the release of the new material, Omega also released a small, regular, and long length version just as they did for the titanium version. This was to try and help the people who just couldn't get the perfect fit with the bracelet as many have complained it was either too tight, or too loose, o too bulky on the clasp side.

For me, the standard NTTD bracelet length gave me issues creating the perfect fitment on my 6.75" wrist so I knew I would have to go with the smaller length version.

I called by local Omega boutique back in February thinking it would be the usual 1-2 weeks to get the bracelet ordered from Omega, and ended up waiting over 5 months for it to arrive today.

For your reference, the model number for the small length stainless bracelet is:

020STZ015683

Retail price for this combination is $720 pre-tax. No springb ars are included with the watch like they are with the 50th Anniversary Speedmaster band.

Word of warning: The standard spring bars for both the Seamaster and Speedmaster will NOT fit the bracelet as the holes are very small. You will need some very thin tipped 20mm spring bars in order to make this all fit together.

As many of you know, I have been wearing my Seamaster 300M on 50th Anniversary Speedmaster band with Uncle Seiko flat link end links. The watch aesthetically looks amazing, although some might consider the band a bit too thin for the watch head.

I am currently on the 3rd to last hole on the Milanese band which creates somewhat of a tighter fit. If I go to the 2nd to last hole, it's probably a bit too loose. So did getting a smaller band necessarily fix the original issue I had with the NTTD? The answer is no. Did it take over an inch of excess band material off the watch and make it a bit more comfortable on the underside to wear? The answer is yes.

Below are some photos I took of the bracelet/watch combo for your viewing pleasure. For those of you looking to do something a little bit different with your Seamasters, I hope this helps. Cheers everyone!

Thanks for your review. What was the original issue that you had?

I have a similar size wrist and bought my NTTD Seamaster specifically with the small size bracelet. I tried it with the standard size first, but also had the opportunity to compare it with the smaller size at the same time. The standard size fit, but did not conform well to the shape of my wrist. Either too loose or too uncomfortable. The small size conformed much better.

However I'm still envious of people who say this bracelet is so comfortable. For me, the comfort is just ok, not great. But it's such an awesome thing to look at that I wear mine 95% of the time on the bracelet rather than the NATO, despite the NATO strap being more comfortable on my wrist.

@Spikedlee thanks for the info, I’m considering doing the same myself. Were you able to get the spring bars from Omega or somewhere else? Thank you.

Hello,

I was looking for an alternate titanium OEM bracelet for the Seamaster No Time to Die. Does anyone know if any of these would fit? 2293.50, 2298.80, 2231.50, 2231.80, 2232.80? Or any other? Thanks.
