Omega NATO Strap Question...

Very much smitten with this but it's not in stock...


Opinions:

Discontinued or just Out of Stock?
Worth calling around to AD's and OB's to see if they may have one?
Barring those possibilities, anyone here know of a retailer that offers one of similar quality and exact colorway?

They turn up on eBay from time to time. The ‘Spectre’ is probably the most common Omega NATO, be patient and one will come along.

I'm too much of a cheap skate to spend the Omega prices on a piece of nylon (yea yea and hardware). I recently bought some straps from Crown and Buckle and I'm happy with the quality. Admittedly, I haven't worn them very much and don't know how the quality directly compares to Omega. They're nicer than other cheap NATOs I've purchased in the past. I also got one of the single pass through adjustable Chevron straps from them that I like. That one is insanely soft and pliable but the buckle is a bit wide. The normal NATO does add more height than I'd like on the Speedy but they do have a single pass through NATO as well.
