Love the look of NATO, especially those on the Omega site. Really cool that you can find your watch head and preview a look. But am I the only one who finds true NATOs annoying as hell to use, what with all the extra strap length?
Probably not, but this is super easy to remedy. Clamp the strap between two quarters, cut around them to where you want to shorten the strap to, then pass the end lightly near a flame to re-seal the end. Takes ~2min. I don't recommend doing this to an Omega NATO but for a $5 eBay job, it's a no-brainer
What a great configurator. It’s really nice to see the strap on the watches to get a better feel for what it looks like.
