    .
I bought this some years ago.

I initially thought it was a broken tool for opening screw back cases, but took it nevertheless because it was marked with the Naiad logo, I paid it a couple of euros and I decided it could be used as decoration.

Then I regreted and put it in a drawer.
Where I found it yesterday and realised what it is. Just need to have in hand the original 1937 Naiad first generation CK 2064 with the wide press in back :

And then it becomes easy to understand how to use it for opening the back of the Watch :

I tried it and the back went out without difficulty and with no risk to damage the case, althout it is rather tight.

Funny that it took me some years to understand the use of such a simple tool.......

Yann, that is cool ! May I send you my naiad for opening or may I borrow the tool? (joking) I originally felt the oversize caseback would make for easy opening but the 75 years of gunk has made it a little stubborn.
What made you realize what you had ?

Actually, a paint can opener has the same design principle, I bet it would work levering off of the lug which would have to be protected. I'll give it a go when I get a chance.
"Uncle Buck's Beer Tab, Paint Can and Naiad Case Opener" It'll be huge !

Damned, it seems that you have discovered how I found the use of this tool. Just after opening a beer.....

Isosta can do it drunk and with closed eyes. Strange enough he needs both, he can't do it either drunk or with closed eyes.....

Should have been drunk ::beer:: and blind  to use this tool for years just to heat everything instead of using it to change and adjust stones on palet forks .
