Omega Movement & Cartier Dial - What do I have here?

Hi, I recently found at the bottom of a bunch of random jewelry the attached Omega movement and Cartier dial. Based on the serial number, I believe the movement dates to 1947. It is in good running condition. I guess my question is what do I have here? I plan on listing it on Ebay and would appreciate any information I could use in describing it. The dial measures approx. 20mm x 23mm. Thanks in advance.

You have an Omega caliber R17.8 in poor condition from ca 1947 with a really badly refinished dial. Any connection to Cartier possible but doubtful.
