Hi members and guests, this is my first thread in this forum! Thank you for being a part of it.

I got a Omega stop watch. It should be the MG6364, the caliber is 9049A. It should rev in six seconds, but needs four seconds for one turn. Does anyone know that this is correct or needs the watch to be adjusted? Find attached a picture of the movement. Thanks for the answers! Greetings, Andreas.

@uwsearch wrote an excellent summary of stopwatches here:

    Is your watch there?

Is it exactly 4 seconds per revolution? Let it run for 15 turns and see if it's a minute within a second. If it is, could be something incorrect in the train wheels and balance/hairspring but, I doubt it. It's more likely to be "about 4 seconds" and the hairspring needs review. Can you get a photo zoomed in on that area at the lower?

    Cheers, Chris
