So, I own this watch......
Know nothing about it......
It seems to work.......
I don't know what to do with it....Seriously though. I do own a number of watches. I bought this a few years ago and it just sits around doing nothing. I cant find another one to compare it with, can anyone help?

It looks like one of the buttons for the day decal does not work. The gold plating is a bit rubbed in places and it the strap is not original. But it fits quite well and not a bad colour match.

"It seems to work"?

It works some of the time?

It keeps time?

The day or date "does not work"? At all? Erratically possibly?

C'mon, that's two of us curious......

y. I will need see if the day/date works tomorrow. I does change when the hands are turned. Like I say, the day indicator doesn't rotate the dial.
There seems to be very little info on these anywhere. And I can't find one with the same colour face.

Well it seems to keep good time and the day/date changed over night.

What ? There are TONS of info on the Omega Caliber 1310 movement ! Having said that that dial and case are pretty rare ;-)

Thanks webvan. Is there an 'actual' name for the watch? Would the original strap have been a multi link bracelet?

One of the buttons is for the date, the other is to hack the seconds hand.

I don't think this one is too rare, if I'm not wrong they were in the transition period of dropping the megaquartz from the dial favour of just quartz while retaining the same movement. Hence making it difficult to bring up this exact model searching megaquartz.

Just Google Omega 196.0036, you'll see plenty including on bracelet.
