·Designed in 1935 and introduced in 1936, Omega develop his first sweep second center wristwatch caliber, know as 23.4SC movement. Wasen't an affordable watch within the reach of all; special designed cases, daring colors for the time, was useful and popular among doctors in Europe between wars, for measure the heart rate, was marketed for medical personnel as Omega "Medicus" model.
The condition of this watch is amazing original and in extremely good shape, normal men size for art deco years, the lines, the elegance is the result of a culture immersed in a beauty of pure lines marked mostly by geometric motifs, curvilinear forms and sharply defined outlines.
Original blue Alpha hands and second hands, hours and second three ring dial, blue numerals, one-off extremely beautiful patina, different finishes, hands types and dial colors for a very little batch of numbers and years, stainless steel two steps 29 mm round case, original Omega big flat hidden crown, the beauty mixed with the best tecnology available in 1937, gives this watch an unique character and a unbeatable style.
Niquel chromed plate 23.4SC, 15 jewel movement, full service at this moment at my watchmaker, the watch will run and keep time as is should.
Hard to find piece, more in original conditions, in 80 years is normal lose the crown or the second hand, blemish patina, loss the blue color in the hands, oxid in the movement, etc...
