路I'm selling this Ref.2488-6 because I rarely wear it.
Size: It's 36mm without the crown and 47mm lug to lug, this watch wears large for it's time.
Case: I can't be sure if it was polished in the past, comparing it with other Ref.2488-5 show a similar finishing on the lugs, so I believe it wasn't polished excessively. There are some small dings on the back of the lugs, like seen in the pictures.
Crown: Is signed by Omega and period correct.
Movement: It's probably from 1949 and has a Cal.265. The movement wasn't serviced in my possession, but runs well. If you intend to wear it on a daily basis I suggest servicing it before.
Dial: I believe this dial to be original and not redone, it has small cracks all over it that can be seen depending on the light (please see pictures)
Strap: The Watch strap isn't from Omega, and a new generic replacement.
Glass: Is unsigned and probably generic, but I'm not 100% sure if glasses in 1947 had already an Omega sign on it.
Price: Asking $550 + shipping. Payment by Wire or PayPal F&F or G&S (add for fee). I'm located in Switzerland.
