·I don't have the account to read the Fortune article, but I have seen earlier reports on the decline of Omega sales. This was mainly attribute to the decline of Chinese luxury goods market. The affluent upper-middle class is no longer spending as much as before, while the riches of the world are actually better off in the last few years, which contributes the Rolex, Patek, AP sales.

Rolling 1Y data. Patek and AP have quite a bit of beta in terms of price movement vs the index, increasing more during large gains and decreasing more during large losses.
Rolex and Omega haven't lost much over the last year and less than the average, so this article is noise,

·As I'm not interested in selling, I don't really give a shit about the values, but if the arse does fall outta the market, it will provide a golden opportunity to add to my collection at must less cost to me.......what better it will be at the cost of some speculating flipper arsehole having to sell at a loss!
