hi, i have a chance of purchasing an omega 18ct gold seamaster auto deville unishell case dia is around 33-34mm , but can not work out , what the case reference number is as I only have 1 photo. my question is whats the case ref, and what calibre movement it holds..... Not sure why anyone would purchase a watch based on a single picture like that unless they were planning to scrap the case for gold.

It sounds like it's just the case on offer, but still: that one picture with two correctly placed hallmarks that I didn't even notice, on a yellow metal case isn't even enough to convince me it's gold.

OPs watch looks like a mid-size, 31mm, cal 670/671, in steel it would be a ref 165.004.
