Agreed, IIRC a full length 18k 7077 weighs 57g including end links. Plus the weight of the watch, so probably ~90g of gold? Scrap value is currently at ~45$/g so you’d still be looking at roughy 4000$ in scrap value. I doubt the fact it’s an Omega raises that price at all.
