I don't know if I could pull these off - but I always appreciate these.

Globemaster is a beautiful watch, the bracelet was a deal breaker for me. I'm just a single-fold clasp kind of guy.

Just wanted to chime in with my new purchase. I agree with most comments in this thread: The watch is underrated, a sleeping hero. Couldn't be happier with this one. I bought it on leather, not steel, since I found it much to heavy with the bracelet when I tried it on in the boutique several times. Therefore I ordered half a dozen various nato straps from C&B, I guess, that works. Maybe I am spoilt with the ligthweight of my Planet Ocean Titanium which I have been wearing since 2016. The GM is a perfect addition to my PO. I am smiling all the time. I love the silver and blue dials either way, however decided to go for the blue one since I am simply a blue dial-guy. Thanks for this thread, was a great pleasure for me to read all your thoughts and comments about this gorgeous watch. Honestly, I hope, that Omega will phase it out soon, the GM deserves future "rarity" 😀

For those who still hesitate to pull the trigger and wonder whether it is a nice watch or not, here short wrist wideo in full sunshine 😀

I actually find the bracelet makes the watch feel smaller on my small 6” wrist compared to the strap cause the bracelet blends seamlessly with the case which makes the dial contrast more and the lugs more hidden. I found the strap shows off the lugs more which on my small wrist makes the watch look bigger.

Either way I love the watch.

I notoced that too. I switched from AT 41mm to Globemaster and sometimes it looked small on bracelet but always looks great on strap of any kind. Anyway you cant go wrong with any variation of Globemaster

I've seen the photos of your GM on a bracelet on you, and it looks perfect, not too small at all.

Great post and congrats -- I've put in offers on quite a few GMs over the last year or so but haven't managed to snag one yet. May look to trade a spare Speedy FOIS for one soon. It is a beautiful piece on the wrist as well as in pix, and I was surprised at how striking the dial can be under various lighting conditions.

Enjoy yours in good health!

I like the globemaster and had it twice in my collection. What made it short of a perfect watch in my eyes is if it is only a tad smaller (38mm would have been perfect) and if the lugs of the watch wasn’t so flat on the wrist and somehow curved a bit more. Also, I wished the the pie pan dial was a bit more pronounced.

11 months in and I'm still very much enamored with my silver dial Globemaster, its actually become my go to watch if I'm in a rush.

surprisingly it is also quite sturdy with no scratches noted in the time period. Its a high quality watch all around,

improvements is probably making the lugs more curved so that it hugs the wrist, also I really want to see a green dialed version if Omega decides to to revisit the line in the future. Bracelet is not really an issue as I've grown accustomed to it and appreciate it being different from the others.

Hi all.

My GM arrived last week and I love it. I am however on the look out for a bracelet for her now!

Congratulations on your new GM!

Braclet as braclet is great but I have problems adjusting it to perfect fit. It is too loose or too tight. So now I am on watchbandit sailclothe premium and it is looking great and feels great even if I tighten it “one hole too much” it still dont hurts as other braclets and straps when they are too tight. So for now I am perfectly happy. Will see how it will work out.

Looks gorgeous too in this combination. Maybe I will add a white one to my collection too some time.

I have to admit that the white one is the much more versatile watch and you can play a lot more with all kinds of straps.
I agree, the opaline one can do almost every strap, however the blue one is not bad in that field either.

So ----- why aren't the rolex zombies jumping on the GM? I can understand the bracelet issue (even though I got a great fit) but as far as quality, craftsmanship, accuracy, etc. the GM is at least as attractive as a DJ. And ----- you can actually get one.

I do like this watch, for me the silver dial on a bracelet. However, I feel a watch like this should have a screw crown. Granted, it is rated to 100m. Is the crown system used and gaskets as reliable as a screw crown?

I still like that globemaster stainless steel 39mm but did not pull the trigger yet due to the price dilemma. Want to buy from OB. Still feel price is reasonable at full retail compared to similar quality watches of other brands. However the secondary market prices dictates other way around. And the last time I check, I am in position no where close to support the financial well-being of the Swatch Group Ltd. (I am always willing to support the hard working sale associates though). So the globemaster is sitting on the fence for me.

I like better that of platinum version 39mm due to weight, but even more dilemma for that price $40k range.

Had the blue Globey before, then nothing, but this model was at the back of my had anyway, so got myself the white version now 😀

This is very NOT photogenic watch, perspective changes 180 degrees in real life. I have tried to show different colours at different light strengths & angles on below video, but still it's probably 25% of reality.
