For sale is this Omega Genève ref. 14724-1 from circa 1960.

CASE: The stainless steel case seems unpolished to me.
The caseback retains the original brushed vertical finish, two dings are visible.
Original crown with the skinny logo.

DIAL: Stunning two tone champagne crosshair dial in great conditions, a couple of hairlines are visible with a loupe towards the center.

MOVEMENT: Omega Cal. 610, service history unknown, it winds smoothly and keeps good time.

I’m asking 570Euro plus shipping, payment by Paypal or bankwire.

The watch is located in Italy.
Plenty of references available on request.

Thanks for looking!

Always wondered, is the crosshair added afterwards “redailed” when it’s not centered between the omega logo ? @gatorcpa

Every one I've ever seen has been slightly off

The dial is original on this one and the crosshair is centered, is the perspective of the photo that make it seems slightly off.

Might be, doesn’t look centered tho😀
But main question is how you separate redailed crosshair to original one...
as I understood the crosshair should be centered in the omega logo.... @gatorcpa

...Why do you ask this in a sales thread? Is it some sort of underhand way of suggesting that the watch is a redial? Or do you genuinely want to know how to tell the difference between redialed and genuine crosshairs?

In both cases, you are off your mark here.

Show some courtesy; either start a seperate thread on the watch or PM the seller.

I genuinely want to know 😀 cus I cant tell if it is or not.

I’m not saying it’s a redial at all, I have no clue that’s why I wanted to know how you can tell the difference
I apologize to the seller if I’ve “marked” his sale ...

The question is fair but probably not in a sales thread. A thread of its own titled ‘Crosshair Geneve Dials’ would be more appropriate.

Terribly ironic that someone is clogging up this thread with an inappropriate question, potentially causing doubt, and making it look like the thread has been bumped many times. This is an absolutely gorgeous watch with a fair asking price. I wish I could give it 10 likes. 👍
