Good evening,

I acquired an Omega Genève to restore. A calibre 1481 (Ref 34731224) in a 166.0098 case.
I am desperately looking for an holder ring because the current one is completely cobbled/stuck (it’s surely the cause of the breakdown because I see the glue spilling everywhere). Do you know where I can buy this part or do you know a solution? I can also machine this part without any problem, but the difficulty lies in having the measurements or a technical drawing 😔. If someone can measure or this kind of information, I can offer them a machined copy in addition to a big thank you!
Here is a photo of my watch as well as the part I am looking for.

Thank you in advance to the whole community🙃 !

The part you are looking for is called an enlargement ring by Omega - more commonly called a movement spacer.

The original part for this case number was 079148001C, but it is discontinued, and the new part number is 079MA148007.

You might want to search eBay etc. and see if either of those part numbers come up. Otherwise, you will have to get in touch with an Omega certified watchmaker to see if they can order and install it for you.

Thank you for this information and advice Archer.

I am searching on the internet with these references and terms. For the moment, I have not found it yet! At worst, I will go see a Omega certified watchmaker.

An additional question;
Given that the 1481 was developed with Tissot, could this Tissot movement spacer of the caliber 2481 be suitable?
