Offered up for sale from my "projects I need to start being realistic about the chances of ever happening" stash (this is also where the flightmaster was residing), is a stainless steel Omega Geneve Dynamic - I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but I believe this to be a reference ST135.0033 which will have a manual wind calibre 601 inside. As it is a front loader, I have been unable to open it up and check. This watch is a non runner - the crown turns and sets the hands, but doesn't wind the watch - giving it a little shake has made the second hand run previously. From the condition (I think that might be the original strap), and the fact that it doesn't currently run, I suspect that this stopped and rather than take it to a watchmaker, it was stuffed in a drawer for several decades. Looking for £375 plus postage. Watch is located in London, UK.
I think for this to be effective, you have to tag @DaveK several @DaveK more @DaveK times @DaveK. But seriously @DaveK, buy it @DaveK, there is no time for questions @DaveK But jokes aside, @DaveK, this is a fun piece and will clean up nicely! GLWS!
Sold and off to @DaveK! Thanks to Dave for taking it off my hands, and the mods for this wonderful forum.
Don’t make the mistake of thinking he doesn’t mean this or doesn’t expect sausages! I made the “mistake” of sending @DaveK a package using a coffee box and not including any coffee…. I think I still owe him a cup from that
Sausages would be nice, but I’m just glad to be getting a watch that I can safely wear while operating a snowblower.
