Hi, as part of an ongoing sale to fund a grail, I am reluctantly parting with this one.

This is a Omega Geneve, cal 601, SS case. The caseback reads 131.019, with a serial number dating it to about 1966-67. I bought this from a dealer 4 years ago, and it was advertised as serviced.

Size is 34.5mm approx (without crown). The dial is a less commonly seen one, and is black with thin crosshairs, and a red Omega symbol, which has faded to a dull red (see close up). I am quite sure it’s not a redial as the crosshairs are sharp, align to the markers, and the tritium on the markers is a bit patinated, as you’d expect from a 60y old watch. The dial is also lightly patinated.

Taking pictures of the black dial was quite difficult! (my rather average photography skills didn’t help either). I couldn’t entirely eliminate the reflections, so I tried to take the watch from different angles.

I’m rather fond of the black dial & crosshairs, and it is with some regret that I’m selling it. It’s part of my rotation, and I wear it at most 5-6x/yr.

I have never opened the case since I bought it, so I’ve included a picture of the caseback and movement, taken by the previous seller.

The watch winds and runs well, and wears nicely as a smart casual or a dressy watch. It comes with a lightly used Hadley Roma 18mm short strap that is embossed calf leather.

The price I’m asking is USD420 OBO. Paypal is fine, I’m happy to split the fees.

I will ship from Singapore via tracked EMS for USD25, other methods of shipping can be agreed upon with the buyer; buyer will pay for these other methods. Sales are final unless the watch is not as described. I have bought and sold here on OF, and you can search in the ‘Seller Reviews’ section for references. I may also want to ask for references, I hope you don’t mind.

Thank you!

Er, since my photos aren't the best, here's an older photo from the selller
