Up for sale is a very nice Omega Geneve Automatic with cal. 1481. Movement is serviced and working excellent. Power reserve is great with more than 46 hours. It has the quickest date setting, which is operated by repeated pushing the crown in from the "0" position. Watch was sitting in a drawer for 40 years, so it is in near mint condition. It comes with original Omega leather strap and buckle. Crystal is also original with Omega logo in the center, so is the crown. Sunburst dial is spotless. Even the lume still works. Diameter is 35mm without, and 38mm with the crown. Lug to lug is 42mm. So the watch wears nicely and even at today size standards it is not too small for a daily wear as a dress watch. All photos were taken in macro mode, so there might be some dust particles. Watch will be located in London. So face to face preferred there, or shipping in UK and Europe. Asking price is 250£, or 320€ (euros). References: http://omegaforums.net/threads/great-transaction-with-ivank.16269/
Thanks Cicindela! I'll probably regret letting this one go, but at the moment I'm collecting funds for another restoration project.
Great starter watch in fantastic condition. Or for when we get a significant other popping asking for guidance on a watch for a special occasion gift....
Crazy world that junk gets snapped up by the minute (not here) and this wee beauty is sitting waiting
