Dr.Sascha
·On offer is an mid-size Omega Geneve with a rather uncommon guilloche dial. I've seen this referred to elsewhere as a "carbon" dial, correction welcome if this is the incorrect term.
Dial: Lovely grey patterned dial in good condition. Lettering crisp and font correct. Applied silver Omega logo. Steel indices with intact lume plots. Please note--imperfections in pics are on the crystal not the dial.
Case: Unpolished case in good condition. 32mm. Caseback has some honest wear and a few scratches and small dings, most notably at 3 (see pic). 16mm lugs, but will take a 17mm strap (as pictured here).
Movement: Manual-winding 601 movement. Very clean. Winds and sets smoothly, keeping good time. Service history unknown, but previous owner took good care of it, it would seem.
Crown: replacement crown (Longines). But I have purchased what Otto Frei says is the correct Omega signed crown for this case and movement. Included with sale but not installed.
Hands: steel hands. Small sliver of lume has fallen out. NB: sweep-second is a replacement, installed by Christian and the other good folks at watchguy.co.uk
Crystal: Replacement plexi.
Comes on a new oiled-leather strap (as pictured), which complements it nicely. I took out the quick-release spring bars because those things are the devil's toothpicks.
Selling to cover final components for my luxury interstellar sloop, the Reckless Engenderment.
USD $550 ONO (+ shipping)
Ships to US, CND, UK, Europe. Other locations possible, but subject to discussion.
I have sold numerous watches on OF, all to the full satisfaction of the buyers. Endorsements here:
