Ok folks I'm still new to this game so take it easy .
Another piece I've inherited from my Great Uncle is this Omega. It's gold plated and very worn. The model is 196.0058 the movement I'm not so sure about. Any information would be massively appreciated . Thank you so much.

All the information you need is there.

It's a caliber 1310 "megaquartz" introduced by Omega in 1973.
The serial number dates it to about 1973.
The battery is incorrect, it originally used a 1.35 volt mercury battery which is no longer available so using a 1.5v silver oxide battery may work with tweaking.
It is a 20 micron gold plated case with a stainless steel case back.
The bracelet is not original to the watch.

The references 196.XXXX and 396.XXXX denote.

    1 - Gents Watch
    or
    3 - Gents bracelet watch
    9 - Electronic
    6 - Water Resistant Calendar

The other numbers are just sequential numbers.

They have been given the Genève name by Omega, but not all dials I've seen had Genève markings.
