In the 1950s, the original Genève was, with the exception of the 30T2Rg Chronometres, at the the top of Omega's manual-wind model line. The cases were finished finely, and the markers were made of gold, though the movements used were shared with many other models.
They were produced in two sizes, the smaller around 34mm and the 36mm "Jumbo" version, as it is sometimes called by collectors.
