From my private collection here is a nice Omega Genève Automatic ref. 166.070 caliber 565 with a quite seldom seen dark blue dial. It dates to around 1970 based on movement serial number 29054411. The watch is in an overall good condition. It has some marks from everyday use, but I will leave it up to the new owner to decide if it should be attended to or enjoyed “as is”. The caliber 565 movement is by many regarded as one of Omegas finest designs, and is the last in line of the 5xx series. The watch is running well and keeping good time. Case: Good condition, with marks from everyday use. No major “battle scars”. It measures 34.5x42mm without crown. 19mm lug width. Caseback: Some minor marks after case opening tools, but otherwise nice looking with “Waterproof” print still showing well. Movement: Clean caliber 565. Running good at 260deg / around -20s/day. I have no service history for the watch, and a service is recommended if one intends to use it on a frequent basis. All functions well including the snappy quickset date. Dial: Good condition dark blue dial with silver markers. Original (no redial). See pictures for condition. Hands: Original and flawless (unrestored). Crystal: Great condition original (signed). Crown: Correct and signed. Strap: Good condition, black genuine leather strap with unsigned stainless steel buckle. Price: EUR385 + shipment at cost. OBRO Shipment: The watch and I are located in Norway. I will be helpful to assist in keeping import taxes at reasonable levels. Shipments may also be arranged from within the European Union (will normally be possible about once every 14-days). Only tracked shipments accepted from my side.
