    Short answer, yes, but no.

Long answer, scripting, time, fielding inquiries, dumb people, ineptitude of people to figure out simple instructions and complete a task (dumb people)
And besides, What would Dennis do::confused2::

Submit your request to Dennis, he is in charge of Avatars and shop cleaning.

If you click on your avatar on the top bar, you'll get a little drop down menu... from there you need to click on "Avatar"

Once you've done that a new box opens...

Click on "choose new file", from there you'll be able to choose a new picture from you computer. Click OK, then click OKAY in the box above.

    Voila! New Avatar.

I am very happy to get a photo onto the forum, BUT why do I get more than one print?

You down loaded two different copies of the same print, but don't worry, when that happens we will fix it for you.

Would it be possible to have a group for GTGs?

Sorry dumb question without context... A group for groups... Meta.

    I meant a sub forum.... I think?

They tend to get a bit lost in Open Discussion, and it might help to get more people along/make it easier for people to see they're happening, if there's an area where all the GTGs are listed.

    What can I say?

The socialising, talking about watches, and drinking got in the way of taking pictures. ;)

Do a really good job next GTG, and start an Official GTG photo reports thread and we'll see about making it a sticky.

I seem to be collecting follow numbers: The number at the top ribbon between "Latest" and "Auctions" is going up. I try to unsubscribe to each thread I reply to (to avoid being subscribed to it and thus eliminate that number), but I am up to two and cannot find the threads to which I might be subscribed. Is there no manner by which to eliminate or re-set that followed threads number? It is a small issue, but slightly annoying.

You get them for tags and replies with your post in them also. Just go to alerts and see what they are and this will reset them

Is there any way to post in a thread without automatically following it with email notifications turned on?

I hate to seem dense, but where can I find the alerts tab/button/whatnot? I cannot find it.
