Hi All, Welcome to 2019 Up for sale here is a fully restored first generation flightmaster, the 145.013 with the Cal 910. This watch has had a Bienne style restoration and now runs and presents as essentially new. This flightmaster has had a complete movement service with lots of new parts, plenty of screws repolished and only synthetic lubrication used. The chronograph operation is spot on with a nice crisp reset and it winds up very smoothly. Time keeping is rather good too. Also completely overhauled is the case, which has had the correct combination of finishes re-applied - not least of which is the all important sunburst effect to the case top. This has been done correctly and carefully, the lip inside the top of the case for the crystal is still completely intact, unlike many others you'll see. It was then fitted with all new crown tubes, new pushers, new crowns, new internal bezel drive pinion, new internal bezel, new spacer ring, new crystal, new movement holder, new GMT drive wheel and new case clamps. Lastly a brand new case back has been fitted. There are a couple of very small marks left on the back of the case around the spring bar holes still. The case is now water resistant with a printout from my pressure tester supplied. You'd be mad to swim with a watch that has a 50 year old design and that has three non screw down crowns though. Included with the sale is a brand new, still sealed 1162 bracelet and a great looking VT Tan strap. I will provide a 2 year warranty on the workmanship.
