Hi everyone. I need this information. I have a Speed pre 3861 with an Omega flat link bracelet (the one from the Apollo XI 50th anniversary). Unfortunately, the end links doesn't fit the case well (in fact, the cases of the 1861 and 3861 models are different). Do you think it's possible to replace the original end caps with the Forstner end links? Thanks, anyone who can help me?

Do you need to make any changes? Can the ends scratch the lugs?

Forster end links for the 1861 Speedy will work nicely with the Apollo 11 50th bracelet. I use this combination on my SMP. Obviously the end links are slightly different but the concept is the same.

Will it scratch the lugs? Perhaps as the end links have little tabs on them. Do I care? Not at all. I don't understand why people consider the underside of their lugs to be precious. You are never looking at them except when changing the bracelet.

Thank's.
Both can be purchased separately. The Forstner is more expensive. Which one do you recommend? I mean, which one do you prefer? From what I read on the website, solid Uncle Seiko end links are available, while Forstners aren't.

Go with Uncle Straps then. The end links are the same. The bracelets have some differences but not the end links.

But those are FOIS endlinks. 19mm.
Right. I only meant to point out that there can be subtle differences that turn out to be important.

Here Is the result! What do you think?
Looks good. I put the speedmaster 57 flatlink on my Snoopy 50. The tiny bit of overhang does not trigger even my ocd, which is considerable.
And I need to consider finding one like yours, I need a moonphase watch that's not a fake swatch.....

I think it's one of the most underrated watches, and I'd add: thank goodness, it can still be found at reasonable prices.
