    Dear All,
I own a nice Omega Dynamic from the '70ties.
    Here it is
    IMG_5197.JPG

I always wondered what it is as a finish : Gold rolled ? Gold plated ?
Here are two excerpts of catalogue
    p19.jpg

    p43.jpg
In the first instance it says " rolled gold" when the other says " hard plated"
I believe rolled gold means more gold thickness than just plated ...
Would somebody know how these "gold" watches were indeed finishes ?
    Thank you for your attention,

The "CD" case code (listed before the reference number in the above adverts) designates 14ct gold cap. The various designations above may be due to different brochures for different markets?

Thank you ! but would you happen to know if this gold cap is thicker than gold plated, or gold rolled or even filled gold ..? I am a bit confused in front of these denominations ... !

The same web site also has an essay on these dynamic watches

Just do a google search constellation collector dynamic

And click the link to the essay
