Hello valuabale OF members.
Seasons Greetings to everybody here.
I took several dial photos of my watches. At least 1 of them may raise your eyebow because it is obviuousely non legit (redial, althought a good one).
Solease share your thoughts.
Thank you in avance.
1/ Obvious redial (Constellation 14381-61-SC gold capped)

2/ Genuines (to my untrained eye)
168.018 Connstellation & Seamaster Chrono rated 168.024

3/ Inconclusive (to my untrained eye too) Seamaster bumper 2757-4-SC

I believe there are causes for concern on the last dial. Compared to other examples, I have doubts about the finish (expecting no sunburst), the curved 'S' (expecting a coathanger 'S'), and the SWISS MADE (expecting no serifs). Also it's missing a tick at 6. All that being said getting another opinion might be warranted since I'm still pretty new at this myself. 馃榾

It's the 'A' (Too wide at top) and the odd gap between 'L', 'E' and 'N' in 'Calendar' on the second dial that concerns the me most. Look at the quality of the SS equiv, (not saying its the same dial etc.)

What is it you are seeing on the first dial that says redial?

Regarding the two first pics (Gold capped 14381-61-SC) there usually is no "OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED" in this crosshair dial design.
Font thickness & height uneven too.
Some minute markers does align with crosshair.
My untrained eye may miss more inconsistencies so I am asking here.

If that is indeed a 14381 then I鈥檇 agree that 2 lines might be expected but I don鈥檛 see any obvious redial cues there personally. My own 14381 is 2 line but that one (which is late) may well have had a 3 liner from new. Or a dial change. If you search on 14381-61 you get 3 line crosshair hits

The last (date at six) dial looks like a service dial to me.
Me too. The font is later than the 1950s and there are no serifs.

I used to run a special ops corp. we specialized in post loss area denial, intel, and providing covert jump points for large ops. I still have a jump freighter production network with bpo鈥檚 sitting outside Jita.

oh the fun.

Yes, spreadsheets in space. Aka Eve online. We both at some point invested a lot of time in it.

All "crosshair 3liners" for this case shape I found are arrowhead markers while hour markers dials similar to mine are 2liners (no OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED wording.
Desmonds to whom I wrote already suggested me to inspect the dial underneath to make it clear (regarding question genuine/service/fake dial).
Thank you for your time @padders
Cheers.
