Hi all,

I just purchased the new no date Seamaster that comes with the stainless mesh bracelet with the STZ015676 Deployant clasp. It also comes with the OEM rubber strap that requires a deployant. Does anyone know if the clasp from the stainless mesh bracelet would also fit on the rubber? I think it is a different one that comes with the rubber, so I am not sure. Thanks!

Are you saying that your Seamaster with Milanaise bracelet (Ref 210.30.42.20.01.010) still came with a rubber strap included? 馃馃馃

Pretty sure it's different. Even then you'll need to make sure you have the correct rubber strap for the deployant.

By the way, I am pretty sure that there is only one clasp that is used with Milanaise and rubber strap. I have ordered the rubber strap and can compare the numbers of the clasps when it arrives.

The rubber strap uses a completely different clasp to the mesh bracelet/strap. The rubber strap uses the standard deployant clasp also used on the Omega OEM leather straps. Essentially you just slide the long end of the rubber strap with holes in into the end of the deployant clasp using the two guide 鈥渉ooks鈥漚nd find the right hole for your strap length, press it onto the raised knob on the deployant and you are ready to wear it. In effect it uses friction to hold the strap in place. The mesh bracelet uses a larger more complex deployant which has a small section that levers open to allow the mesh to slide into place then closes down on the right hole for your wrist size, it uses a mechanical lock to hold the strap in place. The mechanism is therefore entirely different. It would seem unlikely that the two deployant systems are interchangeable particularly as the rubber strap is a bit thicker than the mesh bracelet.

This was purchased from a private seller basically brand new with a filled out warranty card. He included the rubber strap, but it does not have a clasp. It is the correct strap,CVZ015752, for the deployant. The deployant part# 94521883 is what works with the strap, and the one that comes with the mesh just shared the overall part# STZ015676.

Thank you, that is what I suspected. I'll try it out once it arrives and will likely order another clasp for the rubber.

I use the older style 94521883 clasp on a non-Omega strap. Your Omega rubber strap has an 18mm end, so either the 94521883 (older rounded style) clasp or the 94521893 (newer trident shape) clasp should work.

Received my rubber strap and clasp from my AD today and they are exactly the parts as shown above:

Clasp 94521883

Strap 032CVZ015752

It鈥檚 super comfy and feels substantial at the wrist.

Different clasp - you have to buy it. They will give you free rubber strap(s) for the watch (at least my Omega Boutique said they would and did), but I had to buy the clasp.

Technically, it will fit but I would buy the correct clasp to avoid removing & installing the annoying part that connects to the clasp with a spring bar if straps are being changed often.

Fair enough - I took the OB鈥檚 word for it when buying the watch and haven鈥檛 yet used or really looked at my mesh bracelet. I鈥檒l consider myself partially flimflammed. Not sure what decision I would鈥檝e made in hindsight.

I can confirm, the clasp from the mesh works on the rubber. It isn't the easiest to remove, but not too bad if care is taken. I found that I also need the small version of the rubber, so now I have a mesh strap and rubber bracelet that don't fit. I'll throw it on a NATO until I feel like trying to buy and sell my way to something that works.
