Omega De Ville Prestige (my first Omega)

Hi all,

Today, I've received my first Omega watch. It's the Omega De Ville Prestige (ref. 424.13.40.21.03.003). I really like the design, what do you lads (and lasses) think of it? Also, this is the first time I've bought a luxury watch. Do you think that, based on the pictures, it is authentic? There was a lot of paperwork attached from Chrono24 (where I bought it), including the manual from Omega, yet I'd like to confirm that it is authentic.

There are some lasses here too! Though I'm a lad last time I checked.

Superficially that looks fine, though a shot of the rear might help to be sure. The box certainly looks genuine if that helps lol. The cards are hard to fake, if those look good and match the watch you are probably all set.

Thank you for the reminder, I've included our better halves 馃槈 I've also added a picture of the rear (serial number is at the bottom of the rear, but I've blurred it). There were two warranty cards: international warranty and pictograms.

Looks all good to me and I agree with Padders that the pictogram cards are hard to counterfeit. I think that the
De Ville Prestige line is really underrated and tends to get overlooked in favor of the Speedmaster and Seamaster lines. That's a shame because they are really nice dress watches. .

I agree! When I was looking into getting a watch, I was surprised when I saw all the watches from the De Ville Prestige collection. Especially this combination of colours (blue, gold and silver) caught my eye. It's a shame how unnoticed it has gone so far; I really hope it gets more attention.
