Hey everyone. I'm looking at this 1980 De Ville Cal 625 on ebay (reference number 111.0140) and everything looks OK except for the lack of "Swiss Made" or "Swiss" below the 6 o'clock. Is this indicative of lost paint, redial, or just a batch of dials that didn't get "Swiss" printed? Thanks in advance.

The King of Switzerland at the time told Omega not to put Swiss Made on the dials as it would bring shame on the nation.

PS: It all looks genuine and original from what I can see.

Sometimes the crystal hides the SWISS MADE in a lot of angles, if the crystal is a replacement, it pretty much hides it on all angles

I'm not saying this watch's crystal is a replacement, but it could be the photo angle in this case
