What do you think of this Constellation 2652 5SC? I like it a lot. The asking price (I haven’t tried to negotiate) is $1,100 USD - do you think it’s worth it?

I just get into vintage Omega, but this looks very sus, looks like redial
我最近才開始收藏老式歐米茄,但這塊錶看起來很可疑,像是重新上過錶盤。

I don't think Omega will paint watch dial like this

This is a very poor redial.

You did well to ask before buying, very rough case, terrible dial, nearly a worthless watch

Ok, I don’t want to open another thread, but I’d like your opinion on some other watches as well.
Briefly: even though I’m not Mexican, I’ve been living in Mexico for a few years. I found this guy on Facebook who has been active for some time and already has a small sales history. He’s selling several Omega watches at prices that seem interesting, but since we’re in Mexico and scams are always around the corner, I’m not able to tell whether they are original or well-made replicas. I’m attaching some photos and I hope you can help me. The prices are around $700 USD for the Constellation and about $1,700 USD for the Speedmasters, with one priced at $1,550. What do you think?

The Speedmaster Date and Mark 40 are a decent watch if the price is right, ask for the price on the black dial chronograph too (De Ville Cal 861 Chronograph) as they're quite a cool piece that gets slept on.

All are priced at $1,650 USD, except the one with the white dial, which is $1,550 USD. No box or papers. This fixed pricing for all of them also seemed strange to me.

The best watch of the bunch is the blue dial Speedmaster Mark 40 Ref 3523.80 on bracelet, it'll likely need service as they all will, but its a 7751 based movement and they are quite easy and trouble-free to work on for an independent.

It's a nice watch, and while they've been selling for less than that out of Japan, you'd have the drama of getting it to you an import duty, so a local deal for $1650 is not bad on that, you'll be happy with that piece on your wrist and it'll serve you well for a long time.

The Speedmaster Reduced Schumacher is a watch some find quite desirable, but its missing the bracelet and the service will be more difficult and costly so I'd avoid that one.

This is what your first watch should look like you can compare and note differences. Exact same reference with very close SN as well.
