I won't list the problems because everything about it is a problem heh ::puke::

You should save for something in better condition unless it is free IMO

I don't think you'd be satisfied with this one in the long run, even if cheap. Your watchmaker will not be happy having to work on a rusted movement, and the dial is pretty far gone.

Looks like it's had a reasonable amount of water/moisture in the movement, and on the dial.

Too much of a mess to save as original I'd think... With dial furniture gone, dial damaged... And that movement... Possibly being the element that's "easiest" for a great watchmaker to put right.

Check in with a very good watchmaker first... Someone like @Archer as to parts availability/whether he thinks the movement can be saved/how much this will cost you if he services it, before buying.

Know that the dial will never be better than it is.

The make the decision wit has much info as you can get..,

As others have said, you may never be happy with the final product.

Really appreciate your help! Just really want one of these watches so it's tempting to buy it. But I might have to restrain myself from it lol

I get you... They don't come up in good condition often... And there are a fair few redial a out there.

Bog decision between just having one, or having a good one.

    Good luck. :)

I think you need to budget in a starting price of at least €2.5k for an original watch in reasonable condition from a friendly private seller. More for better condition/solid gold/unpolished steel etc, etc.

That watch to me is a parts watch at best, even then I think I'd steer clear, there is really nothing left on it all that brings any kind of smile to my face.

Dial not only damaged but is a redial. And the rest of the watch is just in poor shape. As a parts watch best part is probably the case - and with the corrosion that's not in nice shape also.
