Omega cosmic 2000 issues (just back from service )

So I have a cosmic 2000 gp from the 70s (not the most extravagant watch but certainly worth millions in sentimental value) that I've inherited a year ago, after sending the watch off to a omega and rolex specialist for a rather long time, the watch has come back in perfect working order... or so I thought.

After 1 month wearing this watch after its return I have noticed that
1.the date wheel has started clicking over to the next date at 3 on the dial and not 12 (unsure if this is right or not as I'm NOT an expert)
2. The hour hand is not in sync with the minute hand as but the minute hand is tracking perfectly (checked every hour and the hour is behind, sometimes showing on the hour for the minute hand but the hour is showing after the hour sometimes really noticeable)
3.date wheel is slightly off centre but have seen this is a massively reported issue with seamasters on many forums so that's probably just me

I HAVE NOT CHANGED THE DATE IN THE DEATH PERIOD OR KNOCKED/DROPPED THIS WATCH ONCE AS IT HASNT LEFT MY WRIST

Just looking for a second opinion on whether this is my OCD and to be expected from an older automatic or if this watch should be sent back in to the specialist as I've waited months for it back and don't want to part with her again If I'm being honest

I'm aware this isn't thousands of pounds worth of watch and she's battered by years of wear, just information on these is like hens teeth and I want to make sure there's nothing either I've missed personally with the setting of the watch or if the service was sub par.

Ps photo was taken to show that the minute hands around 17 minutes past and the hours showing over half past

Kind regards Harry

Had you not given any thought to returning the watch to the shop? I suspect they can be of more service than we can. OCD? I don’t think so! This is a considerable fault in performance. Not one of those niggling microscopic faults that set off those with OCD!.

I would say yes however its spent months out of my hands and was uncertain whether it was just me just not seeing perfection if that makes sense, I sent the watch off to the specialist through a member of family that collects/trades vintage and luxury watches sp its a little more time consuming than made out and I just don't want to be without her for months if there isn't any need, I hope this makes sense.

AND I'd like to add I'm not here to s*** on anyone's work I'm sure this could be 100% an accident or a misunderstanding I just thought if I'm to learn, I may aswell ask people who have way more knowledge than myself!! Finding information on this watch has been a nightmare and signing up here seemed like the best idea to date.

Well you can either live with is as it is or send it back to be sorted, I know what my choice would be.

We can't magically fix your watch.

Well then. Something needs to be done to correct what I would call significant problems with the watch. It isn’t possible for us to diagnose the fault, thereby we are unable to tell you what the fault might be. If we were able to diagnose the fault, we would not be able to correct it for you. That would likely leave you with three choices. 1/ correct the fault yourself, 2/ take it to a different shop and have them do it, or 3/ return it to whoever did the work inspite of the delay, bother, and inconvenience! The fourth choice might be to suffer by living with it. How can we help?

You mentioned a certified Omega/Rolex shop did the work. This shop was recommended by an acquaintance. If you have chosen NOT to return the watch to the shop that serviced it, give us a general idea of your location and maybe we can refer you to someone.

Hi Harry, I’m also in Leeds.

If you’ve had this serviced by a decent watchmaker I’d give them a call/email and see what their reply is. They should be very open to resolving the issue. Btw this isn’t necessarily a reflection on their work - these things are old and sometimes faults appear shortly after service. I reckon probably 20% of my watches need to go back for something or other in the month after a service.

For future reference, in the UK I’d recommend, AJWSL, Mitka and WatchGuy for these types of watches.

that's actually pretty much what I think I needed to hear tbh mate because I had an suspicion that this was the case with it being as old as it is, it's nice to get a 3rd party opinion as honest as that.
