Hi Christoph,

Welcome to the Forum! Hope you have a nice time and learn and teach -us- a lot!
If you are into watches, this is the right place. Its a community forum where each member is valued for whatever he can contribute - some members are deeply knowledgeable, some are focused on very small portions of the whole Omega family like myself, and some just want to learn, but also contribute their own findings however small they might feel those contributions are.

So: what have you discovered yourself yet on this watch? Googled 'Omega vintage stainless steel' and all that? What have you found out?

From my part: case looks decent and not (over)polished and cal looks good too. I would ask for some high-res pics of the cal though, because this black&white ones do not give you the exact details one might like to see.
Price seems way to high.

But someone hamfisted has been changing the strap - gouge on the top right lug neatly hidden in the close up (and in the back of one of the lugs)
These 168.018s are coming into their own but a perfect one should be still significantly less than even the reduced price

Hi Wilem, thanks for the fast reply. regarding your question what i found out so far. i really do not have a lot of experience in this area but it seems that this cal is a very reliable one from that time which is recomended.
I could get thet watch for 1100 which, folowing your estimation, is still to high - so i am trying to negotiate a little bit more. If i get better pics i will post them.
