1959 Omega Constellation Rail Track Dial 14381 Cal 551 Beautiful Omega Constellation 14381 with sought after rail track dial coming from one of the best periods for the vintage Omega collector, the late 1950s to early 1960s. In 1959 Omega conducted chronometer testing on 20 thousand consecutive mid 500 series movements to reinforce their status and position in the luxury watch sector by showing off the consistency and accuracy of their product. Impressively all 20000 of these movements came through the tests chronometer rated. The movements are in the 17000000 to 17019999 range and this one with a serial of 17008396 is one of the specially tested straight run 20000! The Constellation runs great and keeps decent time although I haven´t timed it for accuracy. It has rarely been worn by me and when worn only as part of a large rotation. As with any vintage watch I would have it serviced if planning on wearing it regularly. The watch has plenty of vintage charm with a great combination of rose gold, steel and the special order cream patinated rail track dial. Euro 1250 Returns only if not as described.
