New to the forum but been into collecting vintage Omegas for a while. Recently purchased this watch though and after googling the reference number I am wondering if this piece is original? Almost all the other 14902/3 SC-62 I have seen have the Champagne dial with onyx markers. Not the 18k gold constellation deluxe dial like mine has. The watch is in stunning condition and hoping it's correct. Thanks in advance, Ryan
Hi Ryan, welcome to the forum. Everything seems to check out from what I can see. The 14902/3 is a dual reference case and can be either a standard 18k (14902 non gold dial) or a de luxe 18k (14903 gold dial). Yours is a 14903 de luxe with an 18k dial and is the precursor to the 168.006 de luxe. Externally both the 14903 & 168.006 look identical with the only difference being the reference numbers inside the case back. Sometimes you find the 14902/3 has the ‘officially certified’ text omitted from the dial. However this is not always the case i.e. like yours. I own a 14903 ‘dome dial’ which came with box and paper and a 168.006 ‘pie pan’ which looks exactly like yours. They are beautiful watches, enjoy!

The edges of the pie pan are not well defined, it makes me think about the rounded pie pan of 004. If I bought the watch, I would check the rim of the dial.
