Hi guys,
After my first “connie” purchase, my opinion was confirmed about this reference: Extraordinary design and good feeling on my wrist.
I’m checking for this other piece, ref 2852-4sc with 501 caliber.
For my experience it seems all original and in a good status: serviced with some patina on dial and scratches on case but not over polished.
What do u think about it?
What could be its value with original box?

Thanks for your time as always

A little polished but not too bad. Bracelet and box add a couple hundred to value.

However, it’s not a pie pan. The dial is referred to as a “two tone dome dial”. Compare it to my 2852 pie pan which has edges at the minute marks (not just different tone).

Also be aware that, although you have the correct style outer and inner box, the (unobtainable) insert that holds the watch in the box is missing.

An interesting watch all the same.

If you tell us what the asking price is you may get some comments.

Right, it s not a pie pan, but only two tone. Image effect confused me. I read that 2852 ref is only pie pan, but seems not correct.

the asking price is 1500€

With the BOR and adding a small premium for the box, then if you like the patinated dial, I think 1500 for a 2852 really isn’t that bad at all.

( I do wonder why the rotor has severe rubbing in the centre of the rotor but the case back has no rubbing. )

It’s not a crazy price if you’re ok with the dial.

A -4 with a cal 501 is kinda strange for a ref 2852....

Is there an association between caliber and “models” of the same reference? Omega, on the vintage section, said there is the possibility of 501 and 505 for 2852 reference but without specific info about the additional number (ex. -4)
