Hi guys,

is it possible to say by the picture if it is all original and if it is re-dial or not ?
Liking this one, but not sure about last letter in Constellation and some strange marks under the Chronometer lettering.

I appreciate your expertise.

 

Minute markets between 12 and 1 say it all, but several other.

OH YEAH, YOU RIGHT! Thank you, yes I'm familiar with Desmond's site but my eye is not yet so trained to see such things. Thank you. How much such flaws actually devaluate the watch?

 

Those strange marks are paint or ink that bled off the edge of the template used to butcher "Automatic Chronometer".

 

To a collector, totally, unless they need parts.

Woof, that's a poor redial

 

We still want three other mistakes. ( NO HELP OTHERS )

 

From what I see now, Officially Certified is missing? Star is not aligned with the vertical line.

 

OMEGA lettering seems strange to me too... O and G are huge comparing to the rest..

 

Missing "Officially Certified" is okay on this reference, but the misaligned star and crude lettering are correct tells.
Note that the Constellation star can be a bit crooked without it being wrong.

What are the other tells? There are loads of them, some glaring, others more subtle


EDIT: Should mention that there are other errors that aren't signs of a redial as such...

The AUTOMATIC CHRONOMETER text seems very different to all genuine ones I have seen.

 

The Vertical crosshair line usually crosses closer to the first "l" of constellation, but here it's touching "e", is that a tell?

 

SWISS MADE font seems different

 

Minute markers 29 and 31 are strange, smaller, not normal?

 

and the numeral "1" in the date is in a different font?

 

We haven't had one of these 'spot the differences' for a while
There are a couple of other 'glaring' problems as @conpueblo mentioned....

 

I'll try and give a hint here - one of the subtler tells are located to the right on the dial...
