Evening all,

Desperate for help on the below ASAP as I’ve just won this auction and now I’m second guessing the watches authenticity, the seller says it’s a
1963 Omega Constellation Pie Pan 561 Automatic b168.005 Original Dial Two Tone, anyone with more knowledge able to tell me if it looks like the real deal?

Thank you in advance.

Better to ask before you buy IMO. Now you own it. Anyway, blurry photos, but looks legit except for the hands and crown.

thank you Dan, I’d tried to read up a little myself and saw the hands and crown were off but thought everything else looked good, I won the auction for $1050 which looking at comparable products it doesn’t seem too bad?

Hands are so wrong. Not a great price, but not bad. With time you can find a better one on ebay for a 1000$.

Unfortunately, I think the dial on this watch has been incorrectly refinished as well. I do not believe they had “two-tone” dials like that. You know about the hands and crown.

If this watch was in any way advertised as being “original”, I think you have a case for a return and refund.

Hope this helps,

Appreciate all the advice all, I had not paid and bought up my concerns with the seller and he’s happy with my reasoning, very new to this so again thank you for helping out!
