Considering buying this watch but with so many fakes out there I would like people's opinion and expertise help. Photo below:

What are your impressions of it? I think it has been heavily polished to the point where the lugs have lost a lot of their definition. They designed the watch to have a medallion with 8 stars but it seems a few have been polished away. What a shame... Thanks for the comment. Yes, I did noticed the heavy polishing in the case. If I get this watch it will be my very first Omega. I always wanted one but the prices are out of my reach. This one is going for $350 and it got me wondering. Maybe I will wait it out until I see something else with less polishing and more definition. Thanks again!

 

Save your money and buy a nice one, you'll be glad you did.

 

Thanks for the suggestion. I think you are right. Better hold on until I can get some more money together. I have seen some Constellations going for around $1200 so probably that's my goal when it comes to budget. Nice to see veterans helping the newbies!

 

Just wanted to let you know that the seller never got back to me about selling the watch. It was not meant to be.

 

I think I've seen it on ebay but definitely not going for $350.
